Vivas featured for clubs Quilmes, Boca Juniors, Lugano, Arsenal, Celta de Vigo, Internazionale and River Plate. He also played for Argentina's National Football Team. Vivas has gone on to manage sides Quilmes, Estudiantes and Defensa y Justicia.
