For this role, she won the 2000 British Soap Award for Best Dramatic Performance. She starred in the 2004 TV film She's Gone opposite Ray Winstone and the 2005 TV film The Stepfather opposite Philip Glenister. Her other TV credits include Clocking Off (2001) Murder Investigation Team (2003–05) and The Street (2006).
